About the Wine
Yago Salice Salentino Rosso is a classic red wine from the historic Salice Salentino DOP appellation in southern Puglia. Crafted from the traditional blend of Negroamaro and Malvasia Nera, the wine represents one of the most authentic expressions of the Salento terroir. Negroamaro provides depth, structure and Mediterranean intensity, while Malvasia Nera adds softness and aromatic complexity. The warm climate and the influence of sea breezes from the Ionian and Adriatic seas allow the grapes to ripen fully, resulting in a wine with richness, balance and strong regional identity.

Tasting Notes
Deep ruby red in the glass with aromas of ripe cherries, blackberries and plum, complemented by subtle notes of spice and Mediterranean herbs. On the palate the wine is smooth and well structured with balanced tannins and a generous body. The finish is warm and persistent with lingering notes of dark fruit and gentle spice. A perfect pairing with grilled meats, roasted dishes, pasta with rich sauces and aged cheeses.
