We cultivate 8 hectares of vines in AOC Champagne, including 1/3 of Chardonnay, 1/3 of Pinot Noir and 1/3 of Pinot Meunier. Now certified HVE, High Environmental Value, we make it a point of honor to operate a vineyard that respects the environment. Harvesting Manipulating since 1921, we produce our own Champagne, from our own vines, and carry out all the stages of viticulture and vinification ourselves. We are equipped with two presses, a thermoregulated stainless steel vat room of more than 1000 hL, as well as an automatic disgorging chain. Our bottles in stock age quietly in our underground cellars, and therefore do not suffer from thermal shock or any alteration due to light. They generally stay there for 4 to 10 years depending on the cuvée. The history of our House Installed in the Côte des Bar since the end of 1800, Armand Viot, the founder of the House, cultivated his vines with love and proudly released his first bottles of Blancs Fins in 1921. The first bottles of Champagne Viot as for them, n only appeared in 1927, when our beautiful region of Aube obtained the “Champagne” appellation. “The generations then succeeded one another with my grandfather Denis, my father José, and finally my father-in-law Maurice, and all of them participated in the constant evolution of our small family business. This passion of Harvesting Manipulating which animated my ancestors, I cultivate it and maintain it every day. From now on, I consolidate these values at all levels.” Carrying the values of the Independent Winegrower This desire to sell our own cuvées is part of a desire to diversify and to satisfy an ever-increasing demand for Champagnes from independent producers. The various prizes obtained through competitions in recent years are a source of motivation to continue on this path.
