Ultimate Tasmanian Winery Tours & Experiences

Tasmania is one of Australia's fastest-growing and one of the most exciting wine states, where some of the best wines in the country are produced.  It is the perfect food, and wine destination as Tasmania prides itself on high-quality farm-fresh produce and cool-climate wines. It is a relatively small Island and can easily be targeted in two in two sections; north and south.

In the north, you'll find the Tamar Valley which stretches from Relbia to near Launceston and where you'll find the excellent cellar door and experiences of Joseph Chromy. Not far away is the Piper River region  first planted in 1974, by Andrew Pirie because its climate is similar to Champagne in France.

The key southern regions of Tasmania are the Huon Valley, the Derwent Valley, and Coal River. Although they are further south, they have a warmer type climate allowing them to grow wonderful Cabernet and Syrah.

Tasmania is not only known for its wines, but it's producing some of the best ciders and spirits in the world. Charles Oates in the Huon Valley is a must-see for their organic cider and Apple Spirits, and if you are driving from Launceston to Hobart, stop in at Old Kempton Distillery to taste their exceptional range of Whiskeys and Gins.

The wild island of Tasmania has become a must-see holiday destination. The wilderness area of ‚Äč‚ÄčTasmania is unique for its unspoiled flora, and its many endemic species is classified as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
