The Vine Shed Story | Where it all began

The idea of creating a Venue & Cellar Door after 3 generations of supplying fruit and wines to other local wineries was an exciting step forward for us as a family.

This magnificent Venue & Cellar Door with its rustic charm is located in the town of beautiful McLaren Vale South Australia, 40 minutes’ drive from Adelaide and set amongst the Conte Estate Circa 1880 Shiraz vineyard.

This extraordinary vineyard alone has a story to tell, planted over 130 years ago and still producing exceptional fruit, creating extraordinary wine.

A Little Bit About Us!

The Vine Shed Cellar Door, offers a fantastic range of wines from both the Vine Shed & Conte Estate labels for tasting & purchase. When visiting, we recommend trying the Conte Estate Circa 1880 Shiraz along with share platters, tapas, wood oven pizzas, as well as other tasty food selections. Sit back and enjoy live music on Sundays.

In addition to the cellar door there are plenty of things to do for everyone. Try our Wine & Chocolate pairing or our VIP Tasting Flight. If you’re celebrating a special occasion we cater for large groups with our shared set menus.

For the kids, a play area so you can enjoy your day while your kids are kept entertained. Live music over the weekends. Various spaces to enjoy inside and outside with amazing views from the deck.
