Familia Otero Ramos is the result of many decades of effort, passion and work. The project that Manuel Otero Ramos matured for many years, from the beginning was seriously and firmly determined as a legacy that today shows with pride. In a province where the wine culture has always been promoted by our ancestors, few are those who manage to realize a winemaking venture. This is the case of Don Manuel, who has winemaking in his blood and managed to get involved with the land. Manuel Otero Ramos set himself a goal, not as a dream but as something possible to achieve. Simultaneously with his studies, he started working in the real estate business. This allowed him to become involved in important wine businesses, in which excellent wines were produced. Don Manuel always stood out for his strength and determination, and acted with particular emphasis in each activity under his command. His success in the activity gave him the opportunity to travel around the world representing Mendoza. In those trips he became passionate about the special mystique of the wineries and vineyards of Spain, France, Italy and California's Napa Valley, where he enriched his wine knowledge. A decade ago, he decided to make this dream come true. This ambitious project was born. At the end of the 1990s, he acquired an important plot of rich land in Luján de Cuyo, the First Wine Region of Mendoza, cradle of the greatest Argentine wines and the only place in the world with a DO for Malbec. With the new century, together with his wife and children, he continued with the realization of this project, whose hallmark has always been passion and the firm conviction to leave a mark for the next generations.
