Aconcagua Valley winery experiences and wine tours

The Aconcagua Valley is located in the region of Valparaíso, only 1 hour and 20 minutes from Santiago and 1 hour from Viña and Valparaíso. It is a wine-producing region with a long tradition, with wineries that have been producing wine for more than a century, such as Viña Errazuriz (cover photo Viña Errazuriz) and newer wineries that have been integrated such as Viña El Escorial, Viña Von Siebental, Viña Flaherty Wines, Viña San Esteban, Viña Narbona Wines and Viña Peumayén.

Also notable for its more rustic identity and maintaining the century old tradition of winemaking is Viña Sanchez de Loria. Unlike other valleys, the Aconcagua Valley is characterised by a great Andean mountain range, which generates a landscape of deep contrasts between the vineyards and wineries that contrast as you pass through. Traditionally, Cabernet Sauvignon, and more recently Syrah and Carmenère have been planted here. In their eagerness to innovate, they have excelled in the production of Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot, with special mention to Chardonnay, although always harmonious wines that receive the coastal influence of the Pacific Ocean.
